Welcome to Växjö Concert Hall!
Musik i Syd has been responsible for Växjö municipality’s cultural activities in the Växjö Concert Hall (Konserthus) for over 10 years. We ensure that local cultural providers are promoted and given the opportunity to arrange concerts and performances. Artists, associations, theatres, schools with a music and dance focus and of course Musik i Syd’s own activities, with Musica Vitae as the main basis, perform on 40 days of the year in the Christina Nilsson Hall, which has 780 seats.
Professionals and amateurs, and all ages and all genres meet here. Every year, up to 20,000 people attend the various events. We are proud of and grateful for the Regional Culture Committee’s assignment and together with Elite Hotels, which runs the other activities at the venue, we work with a forward-thinking approach to strengthen Växjö Concert Hall as the given meeting place for culture in Växjö.
