Nowhere else in Sweden can you find the breadth of Swedish and Nordic folk music that you find at the Korrö folk music festival. The festival was started in 1984 and its programme has always had a good mix of well-known artists and also less established groups, who may be experiencing large festival audiences for the first time.
People both listen and dance here, and there is also improvised and spontaneous playing and singing. Old and new friends meet to experience music, nature and a unique sense of community in the small village with crafting traditions deep in the forests of Småland.
